Farnham Fitness at Home

It's not just Joe Wicks who can keep us fit! While we've been busy keeping the kids active, we may have forgotten to look after ourselves: now is the time to change that!

Over the past few weeks, we have seen a rapid shift in the way we run our lives. It is fast becoming 'normal' to be at home and thousands of businesses have adapted too, bringing their groups and classes to your home. Wellness and keeping fit has never been more important so here is the low down on how to access and support a whole range of local exercise groups (virtually of course!). Yoga, pilates, HIIT, new mum exercises... it's all on offer!

Farnham Pilates are providing a full range of classes online and live. There are a selection of membership options which can be found on the website.

Let Hannah help you stay fit and strong with Pilates from your own home. ALL lessons are live via Zoom or Facebook, for a personalised offering, where she can see you and guide you – it is motivating and Hannah is able to correct. You can also access free Facebook live classes and a host of videos and tips through online membership.

Yoga mums have a large number of classes accessible for a reduced price. Linda specialises in helping post natal and peri/post menopausal woman with pelvic health issues. She is also running FREE Family Yoga classes during lockdown and Men’s Stretch & De-Stress classes. Details of timings and how to participate can be found here.

Participants are being encouraged to donate fees to #feedingthefrontline, a local initiative co-ordinated by Surrey Drive, who are making and delivering hot, healthy meals (all made locally) to nurses and frontline support staff at Royal Surrey and surrounding hospitals. Find out how to help or donate here.

These memberships not only include daily classes for little ones but fantastic exercise sessions for pregnant ladies and new mums. Classes are daily and unlimited for online members.
