From 11th to 30th August, Brightwells is transforming into a seaside escape right in the heart of Farnham town centre. Forget the long drive to the coast - we’re bringing the sand, sun and seaside vibes to you with The Beach at Brightwells!

Expect a giant sandpit, comfy deckchairs, free family activities, and plenty of photo-friendly backdrops - perfect for a fun day out during the summer holidays.

This is a completely free event, open daily - just drop in, chill out and enjoy the sunshine!

And don’t miss the Brightwells Bucket List Trail – an exciting self-led challenge for families to enjoy together! Pick up a trail sheet or download one online, then follow clues around Brightwells to find 8 hidden beach essentials displayed in shop windows. Each one reveals a secret letter. Collect them all to solve the mystery word and return your completed sheet to claim a prize! It’s a fun, interactive way to explore the centre – perfect for curious little ones and adventurous families alike.

We know British weather can be unpredictable – that’s why we’ve got a wet weather plan in place, so the fun doesn’t stop if the skies open. Wherever possible, activities will continue under cover to keep families smiling, rain or shine.
