Why not take walk from Shortheath Common to Frensham Church?

Parking at Hollowdene Recreation Ground you will see the large area of the cricket pitch and recreation ground ahead of you. By crossing the grass you will find several footpaths. Taking the path to the right leads you to cross a small wooden bridge. This path leads you further between fields to cross (or paddle) in the river. The path continues between fields to Frensham Church. For a longer walk you could cross and continue on the next footpath to Frensham Great Pond.

The path is thin in parts but accessible and easily walked by children.
