Overton & Whitchurch Christmas Light Tractor Run
Next dates
Get the Christmas season off to a twinkly start with the Overton & Whitchurch Christmas Light Tractor Run, back for its second year. Hosted by the Memories of Farming in Hampshire club, the convoy of decorated tractors sets off at 5pm on an 18-mile loop through Oakley, Overton and Whitchurch.
Date: Saturday 28 November 2026
Time: Tractors gather from 3:30pm and set off at 5pm
Location: Starts at Polhampton grain store, Ashe, near Overton. The route goes through Oakley, Overton and Whitchurch.
Last year’s first run went down a storm: it finished at Overton Christmas Market and raised more than three times its fundraising target. Money raised goes to the Farming Community Network, which supports farmers and their families through tough times. Donate here
The start is a busy farm yard while the tractors line up, so it’s best to find a spot along the route in one of the villages instead. Wrap up warm, bring a torch for little ones, and have some change ready for donations.
