The St James Play Area is set within Farnham Park. The equipment is aimed at children from 0 to 14 years old and includes swings, toddler swings, a basket swing, a large slide built into a hill with a tunnel and a multi-play with a slide, bridge and a climbing walls.

There is also a picnic table and seating for adults.
