DeMeric School of Dance, Farnham

Classical Ballet training disciplines the body with good posture, develops strength, balance, natural co-ordination; as well as stimulating the mind. With regular classes it improves stamina and flexibility; training safer and stronger bodies for dancing.

All ballet classes have a pianist to accompany them, we feel it is valuable to have live music to dance to as it improves the dancer’s musicality and the appreciation of classical music. A pianist also allows the teacher to give her full attention to the class.

Our younger budding ballerina classes from 2 – 5yrs are based on imaginative stories, encouraging them to dance through expressive movement, music and singing.

The school runs dance classes in the Cecchetti method of ISTD Classical Ballet, ISTD Modern, ISTD Tap, Acro and Street Dance.
Dance classes are run 6 days a week from the Dance Studios in the Farnham Maltings, St Joan’s Centre, Farnham Methodist Church Hall and St Polycarp’s Catholic School in Surrey.
Children’s classes are offered for children from ages of 2 years up to advanced student level. We also run Adult Tap and Adult Ballet classes.
