All Things Outdoors Themed Market at Alton Public Gardens on Saturday, 14 May at 10:00.

This is the first in a series of themed events that Alton Town Council will be staging in 2022.

The theme of this market is 'All Things Outdoors'' and will include lots of plant stalls including:
ALFI (Alton Local Food Initiative) seedling swap,
'Friends of the Allen Gallery' unusual plant sale
Two charity plant stalls from the Medstead Gardeners Club members

There will be a series of talks and activities throughout the day from:

10.30am - Karen Murrell – The benefits of therapeutic community gardening

11.00am - Glyn Jones – Growing your Fruit and Vegetables more sustainably: a practical guide to 'no dig'

11.30am - Emma Evans Nutritionist - how to eat healthy, local, seasonal produce that is still affordable.

11.30am - Thai Chi class by Sue Kelly on the fountain lawn.

12.00pm – Alton Rock Choir

12.30pm - ALFI Talk (Alton Local Food Initiative)

1pm – AVLAN - Wildlife Gardeners’ Question Time

1.30pm – William Benson (Applegarth Farm in Grayshot) - the only UK farm to use ‘Tower Garden - aeroponic growing systems which keep producing amazing fresh food 365 days a year’
