A house fit for a Christmas ball
The sumptuous Edwardian house at Polesden Lacey is elaborately dressed for a Christmas masquerade ball inspired by Mrs Greville's attendance at the famous Devonshire House Ball in 1897. See the 20ft Christmas tree in the Hall and enjoy immersive scenes throughout the house. Outside, ride on a vintage carousel and take part in a festive trail for families, filled with magic and wonder.

Follow the magic around the grounds
Bring your winter woollies as there is an outdoor Christmas trail to explore, themed on Grizwald the Griffin's First Christmas. This is a self-led trail with a map, no booking required. You can pay for trail sheets at Visitor Reception and collect your special gift at the end. Please note, 3.30pm will be the last chance to purchase trail sheets. While we don't have Father Christmas visiting us this year, we're looking forward to welcoming children to our fun Christmas trail.
