Victoria Day is back on Saturday 7 June from 10am to 4pm in Aldershot town centre. This year's theme is 'wonderful water' and we’ll be making a big splash!
This year, the carnival parade will be bigger and more colourful than ever before, with spectacular costumes and puppets. The spectacular ‘Wonderful Water’ carnival parade’ leaves Princes Hall at 11am, ending at the Naafi roundabout. Aldershot’s very own Queen Victoria, Betty Bryce will be leading the procession of over 1,000 local people.
Visit Union Street, Wellington Street and Princes Gardens between 10am and 4pm for an oar-some celebration of fun, free activities, fantastic craft and community stalls, fair rides, live entertainment and delicious food and drink.
Head to Princes Gardens for live music, dance and workshops on the bandstand throughout the day, animal themed make-and-take crafts, silly street theatre, fair rides and much more. Plus, don’t miss our circus skills area and aerial performers alongside Princes Gardens Surgery and a small classic car display in Princes Way from 12.30pm.
Over on Union Street, there’s a wave of excitement, with stilt walkers, a quiet storytelling area, puppet performers, the Giant Bubble Man, Lego building and lots more live music and dance.
