Thursley Nature Reserve
Farnham
Thursley Nature Reserve is just south of the village of Elstead. The Nature Reserve is easy to navigate as there is over 1.3 kilometres of boardwalk with viewing platforms,
A circular walk begins by exploring the easy-access boardwalk trail between Moat Pond and Pudmore Pond, designed to carry you over a section of wetland that is alive with dragonflies and damselflies in the summer months. This part of the walk follows a boardwalk trail, more than one metre wide with a handful of passing places and no steps so would be suitable for rugged pushchairs, giving a there-and-back walk of about 1.3 miles.
A longer walk, follows paths through Thursley Common and Hankley Common, visiting the Lion's Mouth and Atlantic Wall along the way. There are beautiful views and plenty of wildlife to enjoy.
The Surrey Hills website has further information about Thursley Nature Reserve.
