Apart from being an essential skill for the professional dancer, tap dance is one of the most enjoyable and rhythmic forms of recreational dance. Recently, the ISTD introduced a completely new syllabi for Tap based on American Rhythm Tap. The choreography and music is very current using tap steps researched in America.

Modern Theatre Dance is a fun, structured class covering all dance forms such as contemporary, latin, street jazz and musical theatre. It helps develop strength, flexibility using different dance skills and encourages students to be expressive, have self confident and increase their self esteem through their artistry as a dancer.

All Modern, Tap, Acro and Street Jazz classes are a great addition to Ballet giving the dancer the opportunity to explore other genres in dance.

The school runs dance classes in the Cecchetti method of ISTD Classical Ballet, ISTD Modern, ISTD Tap, Acro and Street Dance.
Dance classes are run 6 days a week from the Dance Studios in the Farnham Maltings, St Joan’s Centre, Farnham Methodist Church Hall and St Polycarp’s Catholic School in Surrey.
Children’s classes are offered for children from ages of 2 years up to advanced student level.
