Tap Dance is an essential skill for the professional dancer, it is also one of the most enjoyable and rhythmic forms of recreational dance.

Modern Dance is often seen on the stages of musical productions and is known for its theatrical qualities. The style uses travelling steps, high kicks, leaps, and is a highly energetic dance style.

Through a carefully planned and well-tried examination syllabus, young people are trained to become disciplined and versatile dancers.

At Showshack we offer Tap & Modern Dance classes to children from age 4 years.

ISTD Tap & Modern examinations are recognised by the Government’s accredited Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) providing points equivalent to GCSEs and A Levels.
